    Default AWOL With Jane Stickle

I did it. I hand stitched all 225 blocks. As I got close to the end they took on a life of their own and Owned ME. They invaded my sleep and took all my waking hours. My hands were sore every evening and my eyes were tired. But its done. Dear hubby did ALL the COOKING.
I am NOT starting to assemble then yet because, believe it or not I'm taking a class in hand quilting. I've come this far so I want to do it right.
So here they all are ( Bless their little hearts, LOL, they're like children to me now. I think the eldest is 4 yrs old!)

Amazing. I started Dear Jane a few years ago. Have all of 19 blocks done. I may be inspired to start again

Fabulous! I often wonder what Jane would think, her quilt becoming the inspiration and obsession of so many quilters of the future.

WOW that is some fantastic hard work. I wouldn't have the patience for that much hand work.
