Alright... I am going to send you a few of my quilt tops and you can make those quilting mistakes all over my quilts and I will ADORE it. Seriously, walk away for a few days and then come back and look at it. You will love it like the rest of us.

Awww, thank yous to everyone for the words of encouragement. I'm still annoyed with myself for the mistakes, but I did enjoy making the quilt; in fact, I loved it all until that last moment when I realized how off center it is. Oh well, such is life!
My sister is a great photographer who offered to photograph my quilts when she comes after Christmas. She saw it on the design board during the summer and really liked it. I'm going to give it to her as a thank you for the photography help. Your comments convinced me that it will make a good gift. Thanks again for the positive feedback. You all are such good friends for challenging me to rethink my work and reminding me why we do this.

Mary, your quilt is just beautiful. I understand your disappointment when you have enjoyed the whole process and then it doesn't turn out as you had invisioned. I had this happen to a recent project. The quilting on the back looked terrible so I added a second backing (dust cover I called it) and stitched in on and bound it. No one knows my secret.
