I got the Laurel Burch fabric precut into kaleidoscopes from Avalon Blooms -- and used their Cats in the Window pattern. http://avalonbloom.com/ Click on Store Entrance to see all their gorgeous sets -- by all our favorite designers.

My inspiration: Blue, the Siamese kitty I got from the shelter in January. Here he is with his new buddy, who was found by a friend who goes to school in Birmingham, alone and afraid on a WalMart parking lot there last week. Isn't life full of wonders to think that this tiny creature from Alabama is sitting in my lap in Little Rock, Arkansas now! And of course considering where he was found, I had to name him Wally.
