    That is a lovely boy quilt. What are you going to add to make it a girl quilt. Maybe something appliqued inside the rectangle.

    It's a commercial pattern called "Shoji". It does appear to be a rail fence variant.

    That will depend on what inspirations strike me between now and the baby shower I think.
