Cool Baby boy quilts can be fun too!

It's been a while since I quilted something especially for a little boy.. Of course this will be for my 1st grandson... So.... This is a whole cloth w/ sashing in coordinating fabric. I quilted it mainly by just tracing the print ... When I change the threads to match the print, it blends in nicely. The second photo is the brilliant red minky... It will be cozy for the upcoming winter months...

It's a great boy quilt! I love to make boy quilts because the fabrics are usually so much brighter and the "boy" prints, which are harder to find, are usually 'sharper'. And I have 5 grandsons and only one grand daughter, more nephews than nieces and so on.
