Default Baby Boy Rocking Horse Quilt

This is another pattern I found on the "free table" at my quilt guild. I modified it to reflect a baby boy (neighbor's first grandchild) and gave it to the proud grandparents before Christmas for them to keep at their house for the baby. It went together quickly. I used raw edge applique with echo quilting around the horse, with a large meander around the rest of the quilt. Thanks for looking....

Beautiful! This pattern was the first quilt I ever made and was for my SIL's first baby in '81. I collected several of that designer's line of crib quilt patterns. I ended up making about a quilt a month that next year. Everybody I knew was expecting a baby. LOL

Hope you had as much fun as I did making it, and hope it's as loved as mine was.
