My mom commissioned me to make a baby quilt for one of her friends who was expecting a granddaughter. I chose to use a charm pack to make the quilt. I have to say I am not sure I will use another charm pack. Didn't really like the pinked edges. And I am TOTALLY certain that I will never do a piano key border again! What a pain! However, I am fairly pleased with how the quilt turned out. Now to decide if I want to send it out for quilting or quilt it myself. I was thinking of just outlining all the triangles. :) Whaddaya think?

I think that is a beautiful quilt. Stitch in the ditch around the triangles sounds great to me.

Very cute. I think quilting around the triangles sounds good. You might even get by with quilting around the squares????

The charm pack was "aviary" by Moda. The quilt almost didn't get made because I made a mistake or two...or three...cutting and I can't get these charm packs anymore.
