    Making a baby quilt for a friend that is due in March. She has a 4 year old daughter that I am making a doll quilt for, just like mom's....

    Awwhhh, Lovely bright colours, how thoughtful to do a doll quilt for big sis too :D Did you foundation piece your flying geese?? They look really neat :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

    No, I used a 6.5 x 3.5 rectangle and stitched diagonally a 3.5 x 3.5 square on each side. I then trimmed off the excess and sewed those triangle together to make 2 half square triangles that I sewed together to make the doll "flying geese"....no waste!!!!!
