Red face Baby Girl Alphabet Panel Quilt

I purchased the panel at a local quilt show for $1.00. I like the vintage look of the print. I had the polka dot fabric in my stash. I also had the pre-quilted backing fabric in my stash.

After sandwiching the top and backing, I quilted swirls in the border, loops around the little girl and words at the top section and serpentine stitch around the alphabet blocks. I did minimal quilting to keep it soft for baby. I chose not to add batting because the pre-quilted backing had enough loft.

This has been the fastest quilt I have made to date!

That's so adorable. You say 1.00? I have never seen anything in a quilt shop for 1.00

What a cute quilt! And such a bargain. I like to keep a few panels on hand for quick baby quilts.
