    Love that quilt design and the quilting on the baby quilt. I know how the quilting was done for the 9 patch, but how did you do it in the background squares? Really nifty. Thanks for posting.

    I just marked all the larger squares with a 1-inch grid and treated them like they were 9-patches.

    These are both wonderful quilts. And how thoughtful of you to include the big sister in the happy event. Your quilting is very pretty. The curves are a nice counterpoint to the angles of the piecing. Did you use a long arm?
