Default Baby Quilt is Done (Flannel, Flannel Backed Satin, and Cuddle fabrics)

My latest great niece was born in early June but since I didn't have a sewing room set up this quilt had to wait until now. I have 7 copy paper boxes full of different flannels so that I can mix and match depending on the baby's sex. Also, with this many fabrics I can make a totally unique quilt when a sibling comes along.

I think this is the 7th quilt I've made like this. I use freezer paper paper piecing and just re-use my 20 freezer paper patterns over and over again so this quilt goes very quickly. I used my machine's triple-strength blanket stitch for the final securing of the binding.

    Thanks for looking!

Your quilt is absolutely adorable. I'll bet it feels nice and cozy, too.

Really cute. Just something that seems right about having a satin border on a baby quilt.
