Hi everybody! Boy, I've missed you! As you probably all know, I got my 2nd Challenge round quilt submitted to the McCall's Quilting contest on Nov 8th, so I've had a little free time. Our friends daughter Tory is having her first baby in Dec. (Not long now.) Tory is the one I decorated for the wedding for, for those of you who saw those pictures in my PDA, page 11, back in July. Anyways....

I decided to make Tory a baby quilt. She doesn't want to know if this will be a boy or girl so the quilt is neutral, at least to me. Aqua is neutral. Right? lol I opted for the Stitch in the Ditch on this one again, since it will surely be washed numerous times. (Better than hand-tying it.) The finished size is 43" x 50". I am not sure how big they are suppose to be and you know me, of course I didn't use a pattern or anything. Just cut squares and sewed them together. I think it turned out really cute though.

The front is pieced with a yellow flannel border and then it has a yellow flannel back. I had just a little left over yellow flannel so I also made her 2......? They could be Diaper Changing Pads or Burp Rags.... whatever she wants to use them for. I put a decorative feather stitch around the edges and they are cute. They measure 12" x 15". I hope she likes them. Thanks for looking!

I also have my grand daughter Unique having her first baby, (My first Great-Grand Child) in January, so I am starting her some things now. Thanks everybody!

Very beautiful "I-spy" quilt! And it looks like you still have some coffee in that pot? Can I get a cup of that?

It's a beauty, really bright and cheerful. Good idea making the extra "useful cloths"...never can have too many bits and pieces when there's a baby on the scene.
