Baby Quilt I made

I agree - pretty rude, but remember girls, those end-of-pregnancy hormones! I agree put it away and save it for someone who appreciates it.
BTW, I have 7 kids, and there have been MANY discussions over the years as to what's a "boy color" and what's a "girl color". The concensous depended on who was in the discussion at the time!

I think it is a beautiful quilt!!!
And I don't know whose call it was to decide what color co-ordinates with what kid ??? Some of us are kin to some REAL jerks. I see you got one of them, too!!
Cowboys wear pink shirts from time to time, and my girls had blue dresses.
It's a lovely quilt, and warmth and love are what should count.
And I wouldn't send her any diapers, either. Raging prenatal hormones are NO excuse for being rude.

Some people just don't like or even appreciate hand-made anything including quilts. Ay least she told you rather than jamming it unloved and unused in a closet. Save it for a special gift for a quilt worthy recipiant. I agree with FQ Stash Queen. Send her diapers.

I think it's beautiful. That's like my niece. When she was little I made her some toys and she wouldn't even play with them because of the color. I made her a blue elephant (that's the only fabric I had at the time) and she told me she didn't want it because you never saw a blue elephant. Well she never saw a gray one from me, either. LOL
She's still that way and she's over 40 years of age, now.
