I drew these up today and yes I made them very simple... I also only have this weekend to get the fabric for them... the colors appear darker than they will be... plus the fabric will be different.

The first one is for a girl... my Best Friends daughter who is do the last week of March.

The second one is for my sister, who is possibly having a girl... the doctor said that she thinks its a girl but is not sure... so I went with nuetral... My sister requested the purple... and neither Katie or Joey want pink!

I'm just doing them in plain fabric... i could not find the right colors in the nursery prints... or the prints just were too busy... I am going to use nursery fabric on the back of them... both the same print just ones pink and the other is blue!

    Thank you!!!

Bright and cheery--love it that you use graph paper to sketch out your ideas, too. Do you use markers to color? I often use color pencils.

I like your design and you could use a print on the back. You could also make it reversible!

I originally used colored pencils, but they were not really showing up on camera so I had to use the markers. I have all the colors picked out from Joann Fabrics and the back is also picked.

When I quilt it I think I'm just going to outline the squares since I'm doing this by hand, it would be a bit easier! lol but I'm not completely decided on that.
