Default Baby Quilt my first 2016 finish

This is the first finish of the year for me a baby quilt for my great niece born in January.

I just got it back from being quilted and bound by board member #1piecemaker I am so pleased with how it came out. The second picture of the wonderful soft minke back is the more true representation of the coral and gray color scheme. I used an online pattern while I loved the organization of keeping everything in order from the time it's cut to when it's sewn together I decided I dislike making hst's 4 at a time while it's quick there are just to many biases edges to deal with. I think baby mama and daddy will be pleased the what I made using the colors they have in the nursery.

Excellent combination of colours, and the minkee looks so soft... the baby will love to snuggle under it.
