I have done a stamped top but it was suppose to be a wall hanging and I added a border to make it larger. I couldn't find a stamped baby quilt top that wasn't quilted and to embroider when they are already quilted is hard to not go through to the back. Where did you get a stamped baby quilt top that wasn't quilted? Yours is so nice, I love it.

To JCL IN FL: I bought this stamped quilt top at either Wal-Mart before they discontinued the fabric department or at our local Ben Franklin Crafts store. Ben Franklin has an online store with reasonable prices. At the present time, some of their kits with 12 9"x9" blocks are on sale for less than $5.00. I have embroidered and made baby quilts with several of the kits that are on sale now, and they're good quality, though low cost. (The thread does not come with their kits.)
Go to this Site: www.benfranklincrafts.com Then type "stamped quilt top" or "stamped quilt blocks" in the Site's Search. I also buy a lot of quilting fabric and other supplies on eBay. Bobby's Girl

I'm the person who posted this "Baby Quilt for My Grandson" topic. After I received the kind comments from all of you, I was encouraged enough to enter pictures of the quilt in a photo contest on the Jack Dempsey craft Website. Today I received a message from the Website telling me that my entry won me a $50 gift certificate to be spent online at the site! I thank each one of you SO much. I'll think of you while I'm spending that $50 prize.
