    That is beautiful...and i know just how much work as i've made a couple quilts with that "fur" as the backing. Everyone loves them...so i am sure your niece will too.

    I used that fabric to make teddy bears for my grandkids....what a mess!!!!!!!!!!! And everyone had to be repaired...a couple times each...after a while I said no more -just toss them! Your's looks nice!

    Hahahaha! I remember doing the mini-vac thing when working with some fake fur too. What a pain in the butt! But this quilt is spectacular! I hope you think it's worth it! I'm sure your niece does.
    PS. I learned if you cut just the backing and slide the scissors under the fur fibers, it's a LOT less messy.
