Default A baby quilt for our friends grandson

I made this HST with muslin and aloha fabrics. I saw pictures of the new house and that is why I chose this pattern, it just made sense, but this quilt could not have been anymore more perfect for the new baby, the nursery theme is surfboards and woodies. The quilt measures 40x40, I used chambray for the backing and for the binding I just wrapped the backing around, the label is muslin with scrap aloha print. The quilt turned out perfect ( first for me lol), it is simple but very boyish. I was so excited to see how much the entire ohana loved the quilt and passed it around to hold it.

Thanks for letting me share my story and for looking! (Oh, the iron leaked while ironing the backing)

It's beautiful! So snappy, and I bet it will look great with the nursery theme. Great job!
