    Default Baby Quilt with Owls

It seems owls are big this year! I bought this panel last year when my granddaughter was born. I never did get around to quilting it. I had planned on using it to practice my free motion quilting. I few weeks ago my co-worker had a new granddaughter so I finally put this on the longarm. The funny thing is every one seems to think it is appliqued! I put flannel on the back so that it would be nice and soft.

Your quilt is beautiful -- even simple panels can become heirlooms!
