    I made this quite a few years ago. I hand painted the pictures with fabric paint diluted with shaving cream and heat set. It has never been washed & I don't know what will happen when i do!

    Oh, that is cute! I love working on baby quilts so this really caught my eye. Nice job.

    Cute quilt! The pictures are great, interesting to see if the colors run or not. Great use of scraps too! :)

    Go to the grocery store and buy some "Stain Catcher's" They go in with the wash to catch any colors that run. I would use cool or even cold water too. It is a beauty. It would be a shame to see that green run all over.

    I made the baby quilt when I thought there was a possibility that I may one day get a grandchild. Since none of my kids are producing, the quilt has been carefully stored away. If they ever decide to get with the program & I don't have dementia by then, I will remember to use the stain catcher's. Thanks for the tip!

    Now that is very unique!

    You don't see many babies with quilts like that. Great job and wonderful creativity.
