Good luck to Sarah and baby Mia--I think your kindness really shines thru in your quilt. I have a 16 yr old and he's an awesome kid, but would make a horrible parent. I will hope she makes a great life for both of them.

I think it is perfect the way it is ! And they will both love it ! I was 16 when I had my first baby, so I know how hard it can be. With a strong support system she can make a better life for both her and the baby. I am cheering for both of them ! {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} to all of you.

I'm sure Sarah probably won't even notice the blocks a little off, just that someone cares for her and her baby. She's got a rough road ahead, I hope she does go back to school and not be a welfare mother, she sounds like she has plans on at least getting an education. Kudos to you and your mom for caring.

What a pretty quilt, am positive that Sarah and Mia both will love it and know that is is made with love, isn't that what a quilt is for? To wrap up in the love of a quilt :D

Very nice quilt. Love those colors together. As for the stripes, I always say it was an artistic decision!!!!
