Default baby quilt from wedding stole

When my daughter got married her wedding dress had little embroidered flowers and assorted little things - maybe dragonflies, even. Strange, but true. It came with a stole that she said she wouldn't wear. I joked and told her I'd turn it into a quilt for her first baby. Well Micah Christopher arrived in February of 2008. I gave it to her at her baby shower - where she burst into tears and said, "I've been thinking about this, but didn't think you'd remember!" Hmmph - a mother not remember? Well, I was at her house this weekend and took pictures of the quilt to inspire others who might have such things laying around. I had planned to add other names to other corners - and may yet do this -but Micah is now 5 and a beloved only - so we'll just keep waiting and see!
