    Well the babies themselves came from a panel, of course. As for the setting, I have seen quilts in several quilt shows with the kind of wonky half picture frames. I had 6 babies for each quilt, but needed 9 blocks, and I wanted something that was simple and not too regular, so it would match the setting. I decided to make the wonky stars, but I couldn't find a pattern, so I designed them in EQ7 and paper pieced them.
