Baby Quilts-Better Late Than Never
#22
Love them both! I hardly EVER get a baby quilt done by the time of their birth. Seems I finally get it "in gear" after the baby gets here and I start feeling guilty. Both of these are wonderful and I'm sure will be cherished!

What a lovely pair of quilts you've made for a couple of special babies!!
I like your innovative log cabin creation ... better give it a name, MamaB!
Perhaps the parents will appreciate the quilts more? with them not coming in with the flurry of other newborn gifts ... and them being a surprise!! Besides, the baby is still growing into the "size" of the quilt!!
Sounds like a good story, right? ......says she who has yet to start a quilt for a September preemie! I just haven't been inspired with the "right" pattern and fabrics, but over the holidays I zeroed in on what it'll be, and once I get a couple other projects finished, then I'm ready to get going on it. I'm now thinking, so long as I have it ready for the christening. And like yours, mine will be larger than true baby size.
