So this is the first of the quilts I have been working on this week during my vacation....
It is intended for a family at our church expecting their third child, a second girl. I saw the fabric in the large border at Joann's and fell in love. It told me it had to be for the baby's quilt--it reminds me so much of the mother. A sweet woman with beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair. Luckily I have some left over to use on something else...for me?? :P

this is going to be a gift for a little girl

And this is the second one. I used the same bug fabric from the last baby quilt I posted. Added some lovelies from my stash and once it's quilted it will be sent to my cousin in celebration of her first born. At least it'll get there before he is a year old!! I'm getting better!! I found the PERFECT stripe flannel for the back at Joann's...there was just enough on the bolt!!! Yay! And on sale 50% off!!!

    this is the main quilt

And finally this is the last of the 3 I have made so far. My husband keeps insisting I could sell my items so I figured I'd make a few and see what happens. I'm thinking I'll try etsy. But this is the first of possible ones to sell. Do you feel someone would pay for this quilt?? The main fabric/ border reminds me of a vintage sheet. I was going for a baby girl quilt that isn't traditional and maybe a hint of vintage lovings...what do all ya'll think??

    again main quilt--sideways sorry :(

I love the rick-rack around the edge! That will provide a little one some tactile opportunities.
