Baby Quilts for Twin Boys

Baby Quilts for Twin Boys
Last month, old and dear friends welcomed twin baby grandsons into their extended family. These Little Monster quilt blocks were a lot of fun to design. There are a humongous amount of examples on Google and Pinterest. All applique is turned edge --even the eyes!
Because there are a lot of 3D elements, I decided to use the QAYG method and was less than happy with the results, when it came to putting the blocks together. Many lessons learned, may pitfalls to be avoided if I ever use it again.
I hope my Little Monsters bring a smile to your face! Thanks for looking.

What lovely, creative, and colourful quilts! I know that I would have loved receiving one of those as a child - before the first week was done I'd probably have named them all, too. :-) So much room for the imagination as they grow up with these keepers!

Super fun quilts. I have not tried QAYG but glad you were able to muster through to finish both quilts. Thank you for the lead to find examples of the monsters. I have 3 grandsons so I see a monster quilt in my future. Yours are certainly adorable.

These are way, way too cute! I feel your frustration in working through issues, but you obviously worked your way through the with flying colors, as they turned out spectacular, excellent work as always! I have no doubt they will be loved and treasured, they indeed put a smile on my face!
