I had 25 blocks leftover from when I made the scripture quilt for my friend who is battling cancer. These made a perfect little square baby quilt... I decided to treat the snowball blocks the same way as in the big quilt, and put scriptures about children in them.

It was my first time to use all-cotton batting, and I posted in the Main thread about how much the thing shrunk (!)

The big flowers are fun and easy for a girly quilt.

I love the scrunched up look of quilts, you can still read the scriptures so it's perfect in my eyes.

What a beautiful thing to do for a child. And a beautiful thing for the cancer patient.
