    Default Baby shower gift?

I made this for my niece who is expecting a girl and has decided on grey with pink accents. First time foundation piecing. Many silly mistakes but you can’t beat the accuracy. I wish the same could be said for joining the blocks. Such bulk at points, if I went too close the points ended up ‘squashed’, so in many cases the gap between points is much wider than I would like. Also first time using wool batting and I love it.

Now that I am finished I am nervous that it looks more like a valentine wall hanging than a baby quilt. Opinions? I have time to pick up another gift for the shower and try another pattern before the baby is due.

Give that one! It’s so gorgeous... And your family will know it was meant for baby and not Valentine’s Day.

You should give that one. For someone who wants grey and pink, it's perfect!
