Default Bali Pops Watermelon for Lilly

This is a quilt by my friend Helen for her grandaughter Lilly. Made from Robert Kaufman's "Bali Pops" Watermellon, the design is "Trade Winds". This is only Helen's 2nd quilt, she used the Quilt As you Go Method. The backing has crossgrain ribbon sewn over the seams which are handstitched making the quilt reversible. Celeste had to get her nose in as usual!

It is a beautiful quilt but I have to comment that isn't it funny how the dogs "feel" that it's their job to be in the pic? Whenever I lay out a quilt to baste, pin, trim or photograph; my dogs seriously act like it's necessary for them to be involved.
    Way funny!!!
