I love Ballooning! I have been chasing balloons for about 4 years and love it! Statesville, NC has the second oldest balloon festival in the nation and it is held this October 21,22,23 at the airport.

So y'all come! It is not near as big as NM but may be closer to some of you on this side of the country!

AND if you ever get the chance to ride in a hot air balloon...
GO FOR IT! You wont regret it one second!

One of those things to put on your Bucket List!

The fish or the cow, either one, would look so cute as an applique for a quilt! Maybe the cow jumping over the moon?
And the fish? Just use your imagination! Really cute balloons!

ahhh... i used to watch that balloon festival from my backyard when i was in 3rd grade living in albuquerque. thanks for sharing. brings back memories. :D
