    I think "applique" is a 4 letter word. I have tried and cannot do it-it is not a skill I will get better at with practice either. I have given up!!

    But I LOVE applique quilts. In 2004, when I was living in the DC area there was an exhibition of antique Baltimore Album Quilts at a museum in Baltimore. I spent a wonderful day there with several quilting friends. I took these pictures and wanted to share them with you. I was not allowed to use a flash, so not all of the pics are great, but you can still see the fabulous work these ladies did.

    Wow! Gorgeous! I would love to do one, one day! But I really struggle with needle turn and I just dont think the fusible would do them justice!
