Never saw a Baltimore Hallowe'en quilt before. This is great, very good work. Thanks for sharing with us.

Love it! Love that you posted so many closeups so we could really check it out. Your FMQ is AMAZING. Love the spooky zombie hand and spiderweb. You are obviously a natural at FMQ! Can't offer any advice on applique as all I have ever used is wonderunder myself. I too find it stiff so don't do too much applique except in a wallhanging.

    This quilt is great!

Laura, Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous. I also am in awe of you creativity and talent. I love all the projects you create and look forward to you posting the results.

You said you used the raw edge applique with invisible thread, what type stitch did you use? If anyone else lets you know of a better way to fuse your fabric please post and share. Wonder job!

I used smoke and clear invisible thread and two different size zig zags. On my machines they are a 5 and 6- I have Pfaffs.

Don"t know if it is appropriate for your need, but you can buy a glue that is for attaching patches. I can't remember the name, got it at Hancocks

This is a beautiful quilt. As for the quilting around the witch - I would just stay with what you have started - it looks great!

Very, very cute! I don't like Halloween but I would definitely hang that on my wall. Excellent work and I would continue as is with the moon. It looks great!
