LOVE the fans--my favorite all-over pattern. These are great.

I learned the most about feathers from two men, the anatomy I learned from Ricky and the actual quilting like for those tight circles from Jamie Wallen. It may have been just the right time when I had their videos or the way they explained it meshed with my way o thinking. I also am the Mother of a handicapped young man but his physical limitations only allow him to enjoy the beauty and the warmth of the quilts. He helps design and pick out fabric by giving me a smile for yes.QUOTE=Pepita;5277968]How wonderful that your boys are willing to try. I tried to interest my son (he is a paraplegic) and he was uh,NOOOOO. I feel sure that watching you do it, gives them confidence to try, and honestly there really is nothing girly in quilting quilts! You know long ago, women would spin cotton, wool and flax year round. Then the spun fibers went to a weaver (usually) that was a man! See they got the big machines, that seemed so complex, now we have them![/QUOTE]

It looks like Bryce is a pro already! Why not? Let him go, go, go. Learn everything in this world. Then they have many ways to support themselves and a family in the future.

The quilting patterns are great! He did a super job and I would send him a quilt to do in a flash if I was closer. Tell him he is definitely talented on the patterns.

Bryce did an amazing job. I think your niche includes bringing out the best in others. It's a nice skill to have.
