My mother and aunts used the Baptist fan to quilt all of their quilts by hand. They used a piece of chalk tied to a string to mark the lines, then quilted on the lines. We had a wooden quilt frame held together on the corners by "C" clips, and it hung from the ceiling. It rolled up at night, then was rolled down again in the morning to start quilting.

Both the boys did a great job. It is wonderful that you have the patience to show them how to do quilting.

You are so fortunate that your "babies" love what you do. And the greatest part is that they each seem to find their comfort in one fashion or another. They each do wonderful work. Thanks for sharing.
