    The green is the one that is cut ? And so you are stitching the edge of the green it is correct... but I do it both ways depending on how I wan it to look... also use decoritive stitches for applique to...

    I think I took a picture of my frogs I did about 7 years ago and I used all kinds if fancy stitches;;;;;; it is fine if that is the way you want it you are the designer, and we never make mistakes it is the way we planned it >>>>LOL

    If she had stitched it the other direction stitches or bites would be on the orange and the green wouldn't of been held down...
