i have question, because of the graduating color work on the bargellos quits do they come as kits? Because other wise how would you find all the right fabric colors?

The quilt design was originally for breast cancer in shades of pink from dark to light....It calls for 21 different colours... Since the pride colours are purple, blue, green yellow, orange, red I divided it up between the colours.. I bought the material for it last year when I went to Shipshewana,at an average cost of 9 - 10 dollars a yard. In canada, the cost would be 18.00 a meter... so I saved quite a bit on the cost of the top... I also know that if I had not have gone to shipshewana I could never have found enough different colours of material to make this.. I would most likely still be searching the internet quilt shops to find that many different colours....I did not buy it as a kit. It required 1/2 of a yard to 3/4s of a yard for each colour.... I purchase 1 yard of each to be safe.. and then the pattern tells you how to cut it up into strips etc . On the back of the quilt I will do it up with the square bars from bottom to top 4 inches high by about 20 inches wide running up the center of the back ( I don't have enough to make them the full width) and then put black or dark purple on either side.....
