My husband and I were recently on vacation and since we had some extra time, we did two separate Barn Quilts tours. While driving from Columbus OH to Lexington KY we traveled through Adams County Ohio. Using the internet connection and the GPS on my iPhone, we found our way around pretty well. A few days later, while driving from my sister's home in West Lafayette IN to our Lake Cottage in Wolcottville IN, we took the time to see just a few of the Quilt Barns in Marshall County IN. This time we were able to pick up a map at the first place we stopped. I still used the GPS to get from one Barn to another...it was very helpful. Here's a link to my Picasa Web Album. I've never tried to share one before, so I hope it works!

(If you highlight the above link, then right click and select Open Link in New Window...it seems to work)

p.s. it looks like it didn't copy as a direct link, but if you copy and paste it into your browser you should be able to open the album. thanks...and sorry for the extra work. Sue. If anyone can let me know how to attach the link so that it can be opened directly from here, please let me know. Thanks!

Oh, how I love quilt barn trails. I know so many talented painters and love to explore the old roads to find the barns and their quilt painted coverings.
    Thanks for sharing your pics.
I have many pictures on my website. You can get there via my signature.
I'm working on a new book featuring a quilt barn painter. Life keeps tossing obstacles in my way, but one day I'll have a new novel.

That was a fun trip. Thanks. I just love barn quilts. I think we may put one on our garage.
