    I seen this finished quilt at Stone Soup Batiks and she had patterns as well..She ships really fast!

    I think it works and will look great! The black/blue is not too much, in my opinion, and I love the solid black on the outside which, of course, will create the illusion.

    Well......yes, maybe I do like this better. I think she was right about the solid blue; it did stop the eye. I like this block A Lot! Can't wait to see your finished quilt.

    Thank you for the information. The quilt is very strikingly beautiful. I can see that this pattern's dimension effect comes from fabric choice as well as pattern. It is a great project.
