I would place the blocks on point and use one of the darker shades for sashing.

Yes I agree with the others. Put a sashing with cornerstones between the blocks. Would really set the blocks off.

I think one of the pastels for the sashing would make the blocks and baskets stand out

The baskets are so pretty and Leslie has a good idea.

I think it needs a bright sashing .... not too wide ..... maybe the coral or gold color. No corner stones. Then a very narrow border and a litttle bit wider one in the sashing color ..... maybe 1" and 4 or 5". IMHO

Agree with Leslie - except I would be tempted to do them on point with sashing made out of your baskets' background white - put on a 2" or 3" inner border using one of the fabrics from your basket, then a 4" or 6" outer border out of the same white. On the outside white border I would appliqued curvy vines and simple appliqued flowers using the same fabrics as in your baskets. Binding could be the same fabric as the inner border. If you do all of the above, your quilt should be just about the right size to go on the bed that it is on in your photo.

White sashing with colored cornerstones would bring out the beauty of each individual basket.
