Default Basket Quilt with Civil War Fabrics

I was gifted a kit for a Civil War Quilt, but the pattern did not speak to me. I just held onto the kit for a while. The fabrics were beautiful so I really wanted to make use of them. Eventually I came across a free pattern called Betsy's Baskets (on the Robert Kaufman website) and decided it would be a good fit for the fabric. In retrospect the only thing I would have done different is make it bigger. It's 55' x 55" so kind of on the small side...oh well. I am happy with it otherwise. Thanks for looking :-)

This was a lovely choice. Baskets would have been a theme during Civil War times so it looks authentic.
