    Default Basket of Scraps Quilt top Finished.

    Finished the basket of scraps quilt, love it but very disappointed with the background fabric, frays a lot.

    Very nice quilt. What kind of fabric was the troublesome one? I think Kona is about the safest for background purposes.

    I'm not sure what the background fabric was, it's in a BOM from Fat Quarter Shop. gonna email them and find out. I thought it was Kona, but usually don't fray like this one is. I have trimmed so many times and have to do it all again.

    Is "basket of scraps" the name of this quilt pattern? I really like it and I have a bunch of 30's fabric lift over from another quilt that I could use for this.

    what is the block with the blues and purple? looks like heart with a top. makes me think of an acorn...

    Love your colors, love the pattern. It's a gorgeous quilt! You did a great job. Sorry you had so much trouble with that white fabric.
