Here's a baby quilt that I just finished. It's about 40 X 48. I purchased the batik called 'Sticks and Stones' which I thought would be good for a child. There are actually 3 different shades of aqua, can't tell from the pic. I saw a rail fence quilt where the center rail in each block was a bold striped fabric. I decided to make my own stripes, using the different fabrics in the quilt. the outer border was supposed to be larger, but I miscalculated the backing size, so it is what it is! First time using flannel backing. Had some problems with it stretching. It is pretty square the photo makes it look a little distorted.
