Batik Butterfly Quilt I made for my Daughter's baby!

It is just beautiful! I love butterflies, so maybe that has something to do with me loving it.
Just a quick word of warning - my newphew and wife were expecting their first and were told the Dr. that it was a girl. She got tons of pink things, and being the planner she is, washed them all ahead of time. Guess what - that little "girl's name is Owen. Yup, she was a boy. So, you just might want to pick up a couple of boy things just in case. ;-)

Just like raedar said, babies love bold colors. I work at a children's hospital and I can tell you that the donated quilts that we give the kids from guilds are very much noticed more when bright (like a fire engine).

While I like the quilt, I really thought it just wasn't all that suitable for an infant because the batiks are a little dark. I think she'll probably get more use out of it when Gracie get's older. But my daughter wanted it because her crib set was a butterfly motif, so I just made her what she wanted. What's everyone's opinion? Good for an infant or not? I'm curious what people think!
