    Wow! You made a beautiful quilt even though it's not what you planned! I learned last week that batiks require a specific size needle. I learned it so well that I cannot remember what size!!! I don't have any batiks to sew, so I didn't commit it to memory, just thought when the time comes, I'll ask. Your LSQ should be able to help you.
