I love the Irish Chain Patterns, your was a labor of love just like mine. I made a Triple Irish Chain quilt in pink and white for my daughter, and son-in law when they got married. I hand quilted the whole quilt. The bigger white pieces, I quilted hearts and feathers, in pink thread. I know your nephew and his wife will cherish it for many, many years.

Absolutely gorgeous! I wish I could quilt like that! I love how the colors stand out so well! They are truly blessed to have such a wonderful gift.

Do you have any pictures of your quilt that was appraised at $1725? This one is certainly a beautiful job too.

Do you recall how many different fabrics you used? I have always wanted to do an Irish Chain.

This is definitely going to become a family heirloom. It's just beautiful.

Beautiful! I just finished making a single Irish chain quilt top also only mine is just a double. I don't know what kind of design to put in the white squares. I'm new to long arming and just do meandering right now. I guess that will have to do. thanks for the picture.
