Blue's Quilting Mama, if you pick the batting up at the store you shouldn't have to pay shipping. You just have to wait for it to come in with their next order delivery. That's what I do. Just have to make sure you have a car big enough to get it home. LOL!

I also buy it by the bolt. I have one still wrapped and no place to keep it. And it's so big that I need to get it to my daughters but not sure how to do it. It won't fit in my car.

Put two hooks up in the ceiling of the garage or attic further apart than the length of the batting. Buy some chain run it thru a piece of plastic pipe that is slightly longer than the batting. Slide the batting on an hang each end on the a hook. Works great.

I have mine hung in the basement and I cover it with a piece of plastic to keep the dust off. Works great... I ran an old shower curtain rod through the cardboard tube and used macrame cord to suspend the rod from two large nails... didn't need pipe or chains. Truly works fine.

With the 50% coupon from Joann's it's a little over $200. Yes, it would do a couple twins, queens and then some. This is the 2nd time my DH bought me a bolt.
