    Default Baxter's Garden

img_1381-2-.jpgAlmost finished piecing this top, but have to correct the waves in the outer borders before I can actually quilt it on the frame. This is Baxter's Garden by Jeanne Large and Shelly Wicks. Because I haven't appliqued in years this was somewhat out of my comfort zone. Learned to always use Heat n Bond Lite instead of the other iron on adhesive medium that was used. My edges of the applique frayed while appliqueing. Hoping to get the backing cut and have this quilted over the weekend. Thinking about making another one in blues with sunflowers instead of the red flowers.

Pretty quilt! And blues with sunflowers would really be neat!
