We went to Hawaii a few years ago, you will love it !!
The bag took me a few days to make, it takes some time to make the front and back but other than that its basic bag construction. The pattern is Batik Expressions Bali Bag by Virginia Robertson. Her website is virginiarobertsondesigns.com I got the pattern at a quilt shop.
The front and back are a quilt as you go so once they are done you just put it together. Finished size is is pretty good for a tote bag !
