    Default Bear for My Bear

This is a wall hanging and pillow I made for my DGS from a pattern by Willow Bend Creations. His nick-name since birth has been Bear(Pooh Bear to his Mom and Sugar Bear to me, but too old for those now, so just Bear). This hanging gave me nightmares because my fusible did not work well.....had to glue little details as I did applique stitches.

I do applique (my parrot quilts) with a lot of itsy bitsy tiny pieces & using a fusible would just be way too time consuming but I did recently find a fabric glue stick to be my savior!
