    alaskasunshine - LOL My daughters are lucky to get one.

    Ms Grace - I don't quilt it. that is why it is a duvet cover and not a quilt.

    Quilting G - this is the first duvet cover I have made. To make a duvet cover you just make your top as usual and sew a sheet or backing on the back and leave a pocket at the bottom. I used velcro for the closure, but you can also use buttons. I think it will work out fine. it is very heavy and I think it will hold everything in place just fine.

    dunster - yes it was a "bear" to work with the heavy fabrics. I really didn't like pressing the pieces and throwing the heavy quilt around on the machine and ironing board pulled a muscle in my arm. :cry: only 2 more to go :shock:

    Beautiful. I love the bear track pattern and your colors are wonderful. I bet they are going to love it.
